Renowned for its gentle and effective care
Geneviève Bessette passionately completed her five-and-a-half-year program at the Collège d'Études Ostéopathiques de Montréal. Upon graduating in December 2021, she opened her clinic and now takes great joy in guiding her clients, day after day, on their path to well-being. Committed to continuously improving her skills, Geneviève has already completed five postgraduate training courses. This further equips her to help with cases of chronic pain, past or recent cranial traumas, and all aspects related to maternity.

Find your balance, free your movements
Geneviève grew up in Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot and is eager to get involved in the community in which she has flourished since childhood. That is why she makes it her duty to take the greatest care of each person who comes to seek her help as a health professional and to give the best of herself. She will be able to put to work all of her in-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology as well as her practical skills acquired over the years to meet the client's requests. In addition, Geneviève has a great sensitivity that allows her to offer unique support that takes into consideration the complexity of each individual in their context.

My story
Before becoming an osteopath, Geneviève first completed her Animal Health Technology program at Cégep de Saint-Hyacinthe in 2014. She then spent nine years working as a veterinary nurse, caring for furry, four-legged patients. This experience provided her with a strong medical background, greatly helping her make connections between the body's various functions and how everything is interconnected, which facilitated her journey into osteopathy.
Outside of work, Geneviève loves Zumba, paddleboarding, and, most of all, enjoying the beauty of nature while hiking with her little dog.
Before becoming an osteopath, just like her mother, Geneviève first took her course in animal health at the Cégep de Saint-Hyacinthe in 2014. She worked for nine years as a nurse taking care of furry and four-legged patients. This gave her a rich medical background that greatly helped her make connections between the different functions of the body and how everything is interconnected, thus facilitating her journey in osteopathy.
Outside of work, Geneviève loves Zumba, paddle boarding and above all enjoying the beauty of nature while hiking with her little dog.
In addition, she has been a new mother since April 2024 to a beautiful little boy. It was after having the unique experience of giving birth at home surrounded by midwives and supported by her partner that she developed a growing interest in the world of motherhood. Geneviève is deeply amazed by the little miracle of life and is happy to accompany mothers, babies and of course fathers too in this great adventure.
